The most comfortable way of travelling to Russia from foreign countries is a flight to one of Moscow international airports (Sherementevo, Domodedovo, Vnukovo). The take flights of enormous variety of airlines: Air France, Air China, Air Malta, Alitalia, Czech Airlines, Aeroflot, S7, KLM, Fin air etc. You can depart to all Russian cities from there. Many other big cities of Russia host international airports too: Saint-Petersburg, Kazan, Rostov-on-Don, Novosibirsk, Krasnoyarsk, Barnaul etc. If you want to get to small towns you may use interurban buses and railway.

Travel companies of Russia generously propose various railway tours in Russia because it hosts the longest main railway line – the Trans-Siberian Railway and the railway traffic is highly developed. If you are of inquisitive bent, brave enough and want to look at all Russia, you can choose a journey from Moscow to Vladivostok by train. Such a travelling lasts for 6.5 days and if you are afraid of getting tired from long train travel you may have a break in the middle of your route, in Novosibirsk, and come to one of the Russian tourist destinations – the “Russian House” for a rest and then continue your travelling to Vladivostok after that.
